Introducing our 2024 Block of the Month
collaboration with Sarah Fielke
Stop, Thief! has been designed by our good friend, award winning quilt designer + author, Sarah Fielke!
The Stop, Thief! Block of the Month will run for 6 months, from January 15th until June 15th 2024.
Sign ups are open now on Sarah’s website – she will be offering the Pattern and we will be offering the Fabric kit with all of the beautiful Liberty + Linen fabrics used by Sarah.

about the Pattern
As you may already know, our logo was inspired by the cheeky little Strawberry Thief from the iconic William Morris design. Sarah has run with this theme for the BOM – the quilt being a celebration of William Morris and Art Nouveau design elements.
Think stained glass windows, decorative tiles and and classic Nouveau shapes like lozenges, circles and twisty vines… all with our beautiful Strawberry Thief bird featuring as the main star!
The design is a fun mix of needle turn appliqué and machine piecing techniques, with a small amount of English Paper piecing too. The result will be a delightful lap or throw size quilt, approx 68″ sq – the perfect size for the couch or displaying on a wall.
We are offering a fabric kit for all of the Liberty and Gingham used by Sarah in her version of the quilt, so the end product can look just like Sarah’s!
How does the BOM work?
*A Block of the Month program means you sign up to be provided a quilt pattern released month by month, so you can work on it at the same pace as other participants.*
The Stop, Thief! Block of the Month will run for 6 months, from January 15th until June 15th 2024.
Signing up to the Stop, Thief! BOM will give you access to Sarah’s monthly PDF Pattern and Video Tutorials for all relevant techniques, as well as monthly colour inspiration and access to a private facebook page to interact with other members. Sarah’s BOM programs are well known for being very well run, supportive and informative, and she always has 100’s of participants across the globe.
