Millie Boho Quilt Pattern
Our lovely Millie Boho quilt was designed to show you how to make the most out of your fabric.
You will love the simplicity of this pattern and the speed at which the blocks come together – proving it is possible to create a beautiful patchwork quilt a weekend.
There is a bit of an organic approach when it comes to the piecing – your seams don’t have to be perfect, and fabrics can overhang each other slightly.
Just take a deep breath and stitch, remembering that you can square off your blocks at the end when necessary.
YOU WILL NEED
• 16 x fat quarters, each a different design (fat quarters are approx 50cm x 66cm)
• Sewing machine & supplies
• A rotary cutter, rule and cutting mat are also very helpful for this project
TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT, YOU WILL NEED
• Backing fabric
• As stitching this quilt is more of an organic process than usual, the finished size will vary depending on how much you trim your blocks as you go and your choice of backing. Our flimsy quilt top had a finished size of approx. 225cm x 225cm.
Pattern includes written + illustrated instructions for making your quilt top.
