Redrawn from a 1910s Liberty print impression, Edie is a graphic representation of a spring field of scattered bell flowers and busy lizzies. The design is block coloured with geometric leaves to create an organic stencil effect.
From the SS21 Atlas of Dreams Collection, Edie is part of the Meadow Story. Clear, dramatic vistas and rolling hills covered with wild flowers dominate the ‘Meadow’ story. Designs conjure up the reverie of a golden afternoon, with hampers and rugs spread out beneath a towering blue sky as picnickers make daisy chains in the long grass. Reminiscent of dreamy, soft-hued oil paintings, these prints include a haze of delicate florals alongside larger, surreal-scaled blooms.
Please note: We tear our Liberty to achieve a line that follows the grain of the fabric - fabric edges may reflect this process.
